A. Corrupt intent
Intention is the foundation and pillars of charity. If the intention was wrong and corrupted, then charity is doing is wrong and broken, too, at one and the intention damage.
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

إنما الأعمال بالنيات وإنما لكل امرئ ما نوى فمن كانت هجرته إلى الله ورسوله فهجرته إلى الله ورسوله ومن كانت هجرته لدنيا يصيبها أو امرأة ينكحها فهجرته إلى ما هاجر إليه.

"Charity is dependent intention, and someone will get what is intended. So whoever the Pilgrimage for Allah and His Messenger, then the Pilgrimage for Allah and His Messenger. Pilgrimage for the world and anyone who wanted to achieved or because the woman was going to marry, the Pilgrimage was consistent with what he intended. "[2]

Surely the most important obligations to be considered by a prosecutor was treating intention science, attention to kindness, and protect it from damage.

Imam Sufyan ath-Tsauri (d.. 161 H) rahimahullaah said, "There is nothing more serious to me than my intention to treat." [3]

Al-Hasan al-Basri (d.. 110 H) rahimahullaah said, "Who is looking for science because it expects the Hereafter, he will get it. And who seek knowledge because the world expects of life, the life of the world that's part of science. "Imam az-Zuhri (d.. 124 H) rahimahullaah said," So that's the science part of the world. "[4]

Imam Malik ibn Dinar (d.. 130 H) rahimahullaah said, "To seek knowledge is not because Allah the Exalted, the science that will resist until he is wanted only for Allah." [5]

The good intention is the greatest helper for a claimant in obtaining scientific knowledge, as suggested by Abu 'Abdillah ar-Rudzabari (d.. 369 H) rahimahullaah, "Science depends on charity, charities depend sincerity, and sincerity pass on an understanding of God' Azza wa Jalla. "[6]

Imam Ibrahim an-Nakha'i (d.. H 96) rahimahullaah said, "Anyone looking for something in the form of knowledge which he intended as expect face of God, then God will give him sufficient." [7]

Let us fix our intentions in their studies and stay away from bad intentions are only for worldly gain. Because, sometimes a prosecutor science conceived in her intention to appear (like the famous). If he really wanted to study science, reading various texts and history books and pay attention to it, and it includes the goodness desired by Allah Ta'ala, it will make it conscious again, his concern for the books that made him eager to return to do truth and goodness. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

يا نعايا العرب, يا نعايا العرب (ثلاثا), أخوف ما أخاف عليكم: الرياء, والشهوة الخفية.

Imam Ibn al-Athir (d.. 606 H) rahimahullaah said, "I mean lust is hidden in this hadeeth is that the human desire to see his deeds." [10]

Mahmud ibn ar-Rabi '(d.. H 66) radhiyallaahu' anhu said, "When death was about to meet Shaddad bin Aus (d.. H 58), he said, 'What I feared most happened to this nation is riya' and lust hidden. '"It is said that the hidden lust is someone like (love) when goodness is praised. [11]

A servant who is respected people excited and happy because of his knowledge and the charity is doing, then this indicates that the nature of riya '(want others to see) and sum'ah (wants to hear someone else) in him. Whoever shows the charity because of riya ', then Allah Ta'ala will show it to people, and whoever play charity, then Allah Ta'ala will play a charity (ugliness) it to humans.

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

من سمع سمع الله به, ومن يرائي يرائي الله به.

Lust is a disaster, except for those whose heart remember Allah Ta'ala. When Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (d.. 241 H) rahimahullaah heard that his name was mentioned, he said, "Hopefully this is not a test for me." [13]

3. Assembly Attended negligent Science
The scholars of the Salaf said that science is visited, not visited. But now science is coming to us and did not attend, but a few.

If we do not take advantage of established science assemblies and lessons are delivered, we will surely bite the fingers full of regret. If the good that exists in science assemblies only for those who attend a peace and blessings of God that covers them, these two things is enough as a motivation to attend. Then, what if he knows that people who attend, God willing, get two good fortune, the science of useful and rewarded in the afterlife?!

Let Muslims know that Allah Ta'ala has given the ease of his servants in their studies. Allah Ta'ala has given the ease with several facilities in their studies, in contrast to his day the Salafush Salih. Is not this now we can get easily equipped to study such as money, food, beverages, clothing, and vehicles? In contrast to the Salaf, they are very hard to get this thing over. Is not this have been widely established mosques, madrassas, Islamic study groups, and other facilities with easy-paced the room, both with the lights, fans, air conditioners, and other??!! Is not this many science books have been printed so neat, nice, and easy to read??!! And where are the people who want to take advantage of great blessings that God is to study and learn the science syar'i? Is not it much-cleric cleric who teaches and preaches bermanhaj Salaf in place (area) you, then why do you not attend? Why would you not want to go to assemblies of science?

4. Reasoned with the number of Busyness
The reason is to serve Satan as an impediment to their studies. How many of our brothers who have been counseled and motivated to study syar'i, but the devil tempt and persuade.

People who squandered the opportunity to seek knowledge, so busy making it unable to attend the assemblies of science. He made it as a reason that deliberately contrived so that his absence in the assembly of science have a clear reason.

There are various bustle of the main causes that prevent a claimant to attend assemblies science knowledge and acquire knowledge that a lot. However, the person who opened the eyes of Allah Ta'ala heart, he will manage his time and using it as possible so that a lot of benefit. If someone would think fairly, has the intention and willingness to study, then he will be able to manage his time and God will make it easier.

Therefore, the smart-set time pandailah Allah Ta'ala gave us. Give the part to study syar'i. Set aside one or two days a week to attend the assemblies of science if they could not do it as often as possible. Do not let our days are full of bustle, but empty of their studies and the dhikr of Allah Ta'ala. 5. Learning opportunities squandered in Small Time

This does not mean that older people may despair in their studies, but the whole life we ​​have is an opportunity to study because it is worship. Allah Ta'ala says,

واعبد ربك حتى يأتيك اليقين

"And to your Lord beribadahlah until the coming faith (death)." [Al-Hijr: 99]

Therefore, the teens and parents, men and women, immediately offer repentance to Allah, the Exalted above all that had escaped and gone. Now start studying, attending Islamic study groups, learning the true and genuine, and use the opportunity as well as possible before death arrives.

When asked to Imam Ahmad, "Until when will someone seek knowledge?" He was answered, "Until death (death)." [15]

6. Demanding bored in Science

الشرع ميزان الأمور كلها وشاهد لفرعها وأصلها

Sadly, many young activists are angry when the ban violated Allah Ta'ala and cry because Allah the Exalted ban abused, but they underestimate the many other kemaksiyatan such as backbiting, namimah, and others. They do not perform the prayer as an example of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, when he said,

صلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي.

من توضأ كما أمر وصلى كما أمر غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه.

It is not God sent down a disease, but there is no cure. It is no accident occurred, but there is way out in Al-Qur-an and Sunnah. It is a matter of no doubt.

7. Assess Yourself Good

It is human praise to you is good news that Allah hasten to you. It was narrated from Abu Dharr Jundub bin Junadah (d.. 32 H) radhiyallaahu 'anhu, he said, "asked the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam, 'What do you think of someone who does good, then man praised him for such actions?' Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

تلك عاجل بشرى المؤمن.

But, be careful if you feel happy when praised by what you do not have. Again be careful that this does not happen to you. Remember the word of Allah Ta'ala on the His denunciation of a people,

ويحبون أن يحمدوا بما لم يفعلوا

"... And they love to be praised for doing what they do not ..." [Ali 'Imran: 188]

Then remember that feel good in general is a disgraceful act, except in some cases in accordance with the rules of Shari'ah. Allah Ta'ala says,

فلا تزكوا أنفسكم هو أعلم بمن اتقى

"So do you consider yourself a saint. He knows about the righteous. "[An-Najm: 32]

So also remember the reproach of the Book of Allaah,

ألم تر إلى الذين يزكون أنفسهم بل الله يزكي من يشاء ولا يظلمون فتيلا

"Have you not considered those (Jews and Christians) who thinks he is holy? Actually, Allah purifies whom He will and they are not wronged at all. "[An-Nisa ': 49]

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

لا تزكوا أنفسكم الله أعلم بأهل البر منكم.

"Do you consider yourself pure, Allah knows those who do good of you." [20]

Okay well a person feels himself in some ways, as we have already mentioned. For example, the words of the Prophet Joseph 'alaihis salaam,

قال اجعلني على خزائن الأرض إني حفيظ عليم

"He (Joseph) said, 'Make me the treasurer (Egypt), in fact I was the one who is good at maintaining and knowledgeable.'" [Yusuf: 55]

But in general, feel good and like to praise the prince of darkness between the entrance to the servants of Allah Ta'ala. Therefore, be careful that you do not become people who love and are proud when praised and do not try to listen to praise it.

If you want to know the dangers like praise, consider your obedience which began to decline, and see those who praise you. Indeed, if he knows what is not seen by him about himself and the charity you are not blessed of God Almighty, if he will still praise you??!!

The lesson to be learned here is the one we want to be careful to consider both self-attitude. Let us take care of title deeds in the name list with titles that do not have. Therefore, anyone in a hurry to get things done ahead of time, then he would not get it.

8. Science does not practice

يا أيها الذين آمنوا لم تقولون ما لا تفعلون كبر مقتا عند الله أن تقولوا ما لا تفعلون

"O ye who believe! Why did not you say something you do. It (was) very hateful in the sight of Allah if you say anything that you do not. "[Al-Saff: 3]

Not practicing science is divided into two:

First: Leaving the commands of shari'ah and left instructions not to do things that are forbidden sharia. It includes a great sin and devoted to him that the verses and the hadiths about the threat of not practicing science.

Second: Leaving matters that are recommended and left orders to stay away from matters that dimakruhkan. Sometimes it is reprehensible, but not included in the texts threats. However, it is proper for a pious and the prosecution of science to do various things which are encouraged and keep dimakruhkan variety of cases. [1]

'Ali bin Abi Talib (d.. 40 H) radhiyallaahu' anhu said: "Science is called charity. If he meets the call (it was good), and if not he will go. "[2]

Why is that? Because science and charity are the two things are interrelated. It could be that they could be gathered and they split. If there is a science that is not accompanied by charity, then the people who have it will be held accountable for such knowledge.

Imam adh-Dzahabi rahimahullaah describe the condition of his time in saying, "Today, no remains of the sciences except the very little bit of this and there on certain people. So few people who practice among them the learned few. Allah is Sufficient for us and He is the best of helpers. "[3]

9. Hopelessness and Low Self-
O seekers of knowledge! We, Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Hajar al-'Asqalani (d.. 852 H), and other scholars both mentioned in the word of God,

والله أخرجكم من بطون أمهاتكم لا تعلمون شيئا وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة لعلكم تشكرون

"And God brought you from your mother's belly in a state of not knowing anything, and He gave you hearing, sight and conscience, that ye may be grateful." [An-Nahl: 78]

We are all the people mentioned in the paragraph above. This verse states that all men are equal.

Hopelessness and self-confidence is one reason for not obtaining knowledge. Do not feel inferior to the lack of ability to memorize, weak in understanding, slow to read, or quickly forget ... All of this disease will go away if we straighten out the intent and devoted effort.

Imam al-Bukhari (d.. 256 H) rahimahullaah was asked, "Do not forget that medicine?" He replied, "Always look to the book." (Which is always to read and to repeat it). [4]

In addition, stay away because maksiyat is foremost in helping to reinforce memorization. So we should not despair and low self-esteem, but we must earnestly and ask help from Allah Ta'ala.

10. Accustomed Procrastination
A Salaf said, "Procrastination is the devil, including the army."

Most of the prosecution of science used to put off learning for a long time. They said, "I would memorize the book of so and so at such and such day. I will read the book so and so after doing this and that. "

Asbath bin Yusuf (d.. 195 H) rahimahullaah said, "Muhammad bin Samurah as-Sa-ih written me as follows, 'O my brother, do not procrastinate to master nature and embedded in your heart, your soul, because he made lethargic and liver damage . He shortened our life, while dying soon ... . Arise from your sleep and realize from kelalaianmu! Remember what you have done, you underestimate, you waste it, you generate, and what you do. 11. Learning to Ahlul Bid'ah

إنما مثل الجليس الصالح والجليس السوء كحامل المسك ونافخ الكير فحامل المسك إما أن يحذيك وإما أن تبتاع منه, وإما أن تجد منه ريحا طيبة ونافخ الكير إما أن يحرق ثيابك وإما أن تجد ريحا خبيثة.

"The parable of the good friends and bad friends just like a perfume seller and a blacksmith. As for the perfume seller, he might give you oil, or you bought it, or you get a fragrant aroma of it. While the blacksmith, he might burn your clothes or you get a bad odor. "[6]

Imam an-Nawawi (d.. 676 H) rahimahullaah said commenting on this hadeeth: "In this hadith there is virtue bermajelis with righteous people, people who have a good, noble, wara ', sciences, and manners. And (there are the) ban bermajelis with offenders, Ahl-ul-bid'ah, people who talk about the shame of others, and that in others of various kinds of moral turpitude. "[7]

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

إن من أشراط الساعة أن يلتمس العلم عند الأصاغر.

"Verily among the signs of Judgment is learned the science of al-ashaaghir." [8]

Imam Ibn al-Mubarak (d.. 181 H) rahimahullaah asked about al-ashaaghir? He replied, "Al-ashaaghir the Ahl-ul-bid'ah." [9]

Ibn Mas'ud radhiyallaahu 'anhu said,

لا يزال الناس بخير ما أتاهم العلم من قبل أصحاب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم وأكابرهم فإذا أتاهم العلم من قبل أصاغرهم فذلك حين هلكوا.

"Humans are always in good as long as they take knowledge of the Companions of the Prophet shallalaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah. If they take knowledge of the Ahl-ul-bid'ah, then that's their destruction. "[10]

What is meant by al-akaabir are Ahlus Sunnah scholars who understand the Quran and Sunnah according to the understanding of the Sahabah. What is meant by al-ashaaghir the Ahl-ul-bid'ah. [11]

The scholars have criticized sitting with Ahlul Bid'ah, then how to take knowledge of them??!!

Imam al-Hasan al-Basri and Ibn Sirin (d.. 110 H) rahimahumallaah said, "Do not bermajelis by followers of the passions (Ahl-ul-bid'ah), do not argue with them, and do not listen to their words." [12]

The reason for the banning of listening to the science of the Ahl-ul-bid'ah is that his name is not known, a few followers, and survivors of various syubhatnya. [13]

Indeed it was meant in an education of the clergy or the religious teacher who was already known for his determination in holding Al-Qur-an and Sunnah according to the understanding Salafush Salih.

At this day and age, the human yardstick in judging something is damaged. If a business handed to someone who is not an expert, then wait the coming of the Hour. Because, not everyone is good at giving advice, lectures, and Friday was a pious sermon. Imam Muhammad bin Sirin (d. 110 H) rahimahullaah said,

إن هذا العلم دين, فانظروا عمن تأخذون دينكم.

"Verily, this science is a religion, then look from whom you take your religion?" [15]

Imam Malik ibn Anas (d.. 179 H) rahimahullaah said, "Science should not be studied from four persons: (1) a foolish man who appeared kebo-dohannya although many Rabb, (2) ahlu innovations that take the desires , (3) the person who lied when talking to others even if he does not lie in the hadith narrated, and (4) the righteous scholars of worship but do not understand what she was saying. "[16]

Shaykh Bakr Abu Zaid hafizhahullaah said, "O our students! Be a true Salafi (follow the footsteps of the Salaf). Be careful not to hurt innovation experts as they make their way to menjegalmu lot. People who pay attention to the situation of the Salaf, then he will be surprised and amazed by their tenacity in trying to acquire knowledge continuously. They do not feel weak, never give up, and never overbearing. Their motto is 'To demand the knowledge of the mother's lap to get the grave'. This slogan is not a hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam.

Imam Yahya ibn Abi Kathir (d. 132 H) rahimahullaah said, "Science can not be obtained with the spoiled body." [19]

Imam Ibn al Madini (d.. 234 H) rahimahullaah said, "is said to Imam ash-Sya'bi, 'Where'd you get all this knowledge?' He replied, 'By not relying on humans, exploring the country, be patient as temper inanimate objects, and in the morning berpagi her look like a crow early in the morning. '"[20]

Thus, we consider the answers Aman Shaikh Ali Al Jami rahimahullah, when he said about some modern missionary propaganda which has similarities with the above problems:

Amma ba'du:
Indeed keistiqamahan a Muslim in his religion that has been prescribed for Allah Almighty is built on two major foundations. First foundation: It is known that has been prescribed religion of Allah Almighty. The foundation: Namely implement the knowledge that he knew and implement religion of Allah Almighty on what he knew and it was clear from his religion. The first deals with the science foundation. The second relates to the charitable foundation. With science and charity will get salvation.

And humans differ in the realization of science and charity. They are divided into four sections. Meanwhile, according to Shaykh al-Islam split into two. However, according to his nature, then surely the place of humanity is divided into four, sesuaidengan their circumstances.

A. Among the people there who were taufik by God with an authentic science and good deeds. This is the ultimate dignity and the highest rank in the sight of Allah.

2. Dignity of both, that is, those who have the knowledge but without charity. No doubt, this is a drawback, because science is a charitable foundation. Therefore, someone who learns but does not do good, it means the person that there is similarity with the Jews. They are knowledgeable, but without charity.

3. The third dignity, that is, those who labor without science. In that person's likeness is there Nassara. They are the ones who lost. They are doing a good deed, but without the science. This state of innovation experts so. Ie those who worship Allah and do good, but in worship without the use of science.

4. Dignity fourth, that is, those who do not have the knowledge and charity. The scholars said they are human beings like cattle. They have no desire except to have fun with the world, has no aspirations in science and charity. Meanwhile, people who were given Taufiq Taufiq is given by God to authentic science and good deeds.

As for the science itself requires a few cases. Science will not be realized unless the consequences. Science is only by learning, exert sincerity and ability to get it. And how, one-thalibul 'ability to exert ilmi tafaqquh fid-din, in the dig, and when sitting in front of the clergy, in reading the books and asked for an explanation of troubling cases, until God gives him sustenance in the form of science. A thalibul-'science must follow a saheeh manhaj in taking and studying.

Among manhaj (roads, rules) in their studies, let start with the sciences that light before heavy sciences. Hence to say about an 'alim Rabbani, that he was a small building with prosecutors science little science before science major. Thus, studying it should tadarruj (gradually).

The meaning of the sciences that light is a known issues, which are known, are not issues that require analysis and discussion. From here, it is among the issues are appropriately prioritized issues of clear and explicit, that is about ushuludin (religious subjects), such as knowing ushuludin, usul i'tiqad. Therefore, the clergy in the teaching of the thulab (prosecutors science, students) is done in stages by using mukhtasharat (the books are compact), in all branches of science. They explained to the subjects of human knowledge through mukhtasharat (scriptures compact) this. Gradually, starting from mukhtasharat texts until later increased, by reading books Sharh (explanation) against him, and then expanded so that the Talib came to muthawalat books (the books of the thick / wide) and grow nazhar (research) and ijtihad in these matters, so as to achieve the degree of the clergy with taufiq God. So, that in thalibul-'ilmi must tadarruj (gradually).

Including the important case before the demands of science, is sincere to Allah Almighty in the pursuit of knowledge. Because really sincere to have a great influence to achieve taufiq (guidance of God) in everything. Whoever get taufiq with sincerity, then he has been given a lot of goodness in every religion and world affairs. Genuine influence on taufiq (Allah's guidance) indicated by the word of God on two judges of the husband and wife:

"... If the two judges were intended to make amends, Allah the Source of strength to her husband's and wife ..." [al-Nisa '/ 4:35].

Similarly, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam about the effect of liver-related in the hadith keistiqamahan limbs Nu `man bin Bashir:

ألا وإن في الجسد مضغة إذا صلحت صلح الجسد كله وإذا فسدت فسد الجسد كله ألا وهي القلب

"Remember the real in the human body there is a piece of meat. If it's a good piece of flesh, then the whole body is also good. If a lump of meat that is damaged, then the whole body are also damaged. You know, a piece of meat that is the heart". [1]

If the heart is good, also good deeds, and people benefit from their knowledge. Thus, one is given taufiq caused by science and understanding. Therefore, this case must be considered.

Included in thalabul-souled 'ilmi, is studying for tafaqquh (understand), and to eliminate the ignorance of his own. Therefore, Malik bin Dinar rahimahullah said:'' He who seek knowledge for themselves, then science is a bit inadequate. And for anyone studying the human (others), then the real needs of others is not endless.''

Someone better find out what the needs are. You need to know thaharah (ablution), prayer, fasting, and worship to God Almighty. Then, you shall bertafaqquh (understand) the science that led to the practice. And there is a mandatory practice and there are mustahab. So someone let start with the knowledge required for him individually. Then gradually learn the mustahab (sunna, preferably). It is therefore mandatory in thalabul-souled 'ilmi.

Among the subjects that should be considered also by the prosecution of science, namely isti'anah (request for help) to Allah Almighty, to his resignation, and pray to Him, that He gave him an authentic science (correctly) that nafs `( useful). It is promoted by God in His Word:

"Yes my Lord, add science to me." [Thâhâ/20: 114].

Allah said (in the hadith qudsi):

يا عبادي كلكم ضال إلا من هديته فاستهدوني أهدكم

"O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I give instructions; then ask for directions to me, surely I will give instructions to you". [2]

Then, ask for guidance of Allah, Allah Almighty will provide guidance, as the hadith above.

And, in a prayer taught by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam to a man, who guided the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam toward the doors of goodness. He sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam taught him to pray:

أللهم ألهمني رشدي وقني شر نفسي

So, people will not get fed unless Taufiq Taufiq by God. Also another in a prayer atsar (history):

أللهم أرنا الحق حقا وارزقنااتباعه و أرنا الباطل باطلا وارزقنا اجتنابه

Thus, the first time a man is required to be presented to al-haq by Allah as al-Haq, then God gave his fortune to follow him, and pointed out al-falsehood by Allah as al-falsehood, then God gave His provision for away from it. If not, then many of the men who practice falsehood, and guessed at the truth. So must pay attention to this side, that is tawakal to God and pray to Him, that He is the Source of strength against al-haq, memahamkannya in religion, and to teach him. Similarly to many beristighfar and always seek refuge in Allah Almighty.

Shaykh al-Islam rahimahullah said that he had trouble understanding a problem. He said, "Then I beristighfar to God, and dhikr to Him. I always do, that God opened the issue for me''.

Such a claimant science proper. However, some people simply rely on the efforts and strength. Resignation and he forgot to pray to Allah Almighty. Indeed in all cases, people need resignation and effort. Scholars attended the majlis and serious in their studies, including the conduct of business. And people also need a resignation. How many people sit in front of the clergy, but did not get manfa'at. How many people read muthawalat (thick books), but did not get manfa'at. And how many people memorized the Qur `an, but they do not get any part manfa'at. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said about Khawarij:

يقرءون القرآن لا يجاوز تراقيهم يمرقون من الدين كما يمرق السهم من الرمية

Most of the people were given intelligence, but he was not given taufiq. Shaykh al-Islam rahimahullah said of the philosopher: "They were intelligent, but not given sanctity.'' That is, God gave them intelligence and reason, but they were not given taufiq to purify their souls.

Therefore, if human intelligence was given by God, let him ask God to Allah Almighty mensucikannya, because intelligence is not enough.

Previously, Abu Jahl with Abul-Hakam was called because of his wits, the intelligence minds. But he did not follow the instructions of this religion, but people who lower their minds following the instructions from this religion.

'Abdullah bin bin Ubaiy Salul, formerly including the most intelligent person, so that before the coming of the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam, the people of Medina intends to appoint him king. However, he did not follow the instructions of this religion.

Man is weak, except those who were given taufiq by Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. Intellect is not enough, intelligence is not enough, then you shall ask Almighty Alah to be taufiq. In fact, sometimes a person's intelligence is a cause error. He just relied on his wits, intelligence and understanding. He thought that he understood, while others do not understand. Then he made a sassy, ​​and true haughty with his wits.

Humans (who have sense, Pent.) If given a reason and intellect by Allah Almighty, he knew that there was no way to achieve this guidance except with the Shari'a. Therefore, religious people are the ones who understand. No one 'alim but knowing that there is no guidance except with this religion. So, if there are people who think that he should get out of this religion, and that thought his wits enough to get the guidance, then this lack of guidance as evidence of reason and science. Therefore, humans need to be sanctified by God Almighty.

Including the need to note also, that knowing the right path in their studies. This problem is very long conversation. Has been described in the lecture (I) at the Islamic University of Medina on the way the scholars in the study of theology, and the preparation of lecture material is more than a week. And God gave a lot of pleasure with this because, by reading the words of the scholars, the way they get the science, and methods to understand the texts.

These lectures are recorded and may be obtained from some students who have recorded it. In the lecture, there are many important side deserved to be considered in studying and researching an issue, especially in matters of faith. Among other things, is in the set-lafazh lafazh syar'iyyah, and knowing the difference between the meaning lughawi (according to the Arabic language) with the meaning syar'i (by religion).

Indeed the error that occurs in some people not because of lack of arguments. Sometimes there are arguments in front of him, and sometimes have been informed, but they were not given taufiq understanding, which is likely because it is absurd on their lafazh. Lafazh vagueness among the causes of errors in self-scholars. As al-quru lafazh vagueness', whether it be sacred from menstruation or menstruation? That was also in al-muzâbanah lafazh, al-muhâqalah, al-mukhâbarah, and the like as mentioned by Shaykh al-Islam in the book Raf'ul Night 'an Aimmatil-knows best.

أو لمستم النساء

Thus in many lafazh in Personality '(religion) is disputed by scholars. That is why scholars describe the knowledge of the meanings lafazh syar'iyyah (by religion) and differentiating with lughawi meaning (according to the Arabic language). Likewise many of the books are arranged in narrations and discussions gharibul gharibul-Qur `an. [5]

In interpreting the Qur `an, the scholars do not suffice to know the meaning of lughawi (languages) only. Even Imam Tabari rahimahullah-an-expert commentators mention, some commentators have been wrong in interpreting the Qur `an, because they rely on the meaning of the language, without knowing the terms of the Shari'a. Then the person should know the words of the commentators in the books of tafsir. One can not simply pick up a book in Arabic dictionary, and then look at the meaning of the language, then interprets the meaning of the book of Allah alone. Because it's a different lafazh means.

For example, the word khair. In the book of Allah Almighty, have the meanings hasanah khair (goodness). Also meaningful world. Also intended to reward from God. How do you know the meaning of this sentence?

For example, the word Kufr again. In the book of Allah, the intent Kufr Kufr Kufr and ashghar. Likewise kezhaliman and shirk. Likewise nafyi (negation) and ithbat (setting), sometimes it meant something specific. For example, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam:

لا يزني الزاني حين يزني وهو مؤمن

"It is not a person who commits adultery is adultery while he is faithful". [6]

What is nafyi (negation of faith) in this hadith?

Mean an adulterer is not believing, is that an adulterer is not the perfect faith of a believer. How do we know? Because in the other texts contained an explanation of the existence of faith for immoral actors.

Until we know, the intention here is negation negation of perfection (faith) is mandatory, rather than a staple. Thus, its adoption is for the principal, and is not to perfection.

Therefore, one must know the meaning contained in the siyaq (series of sentences), and the appointment of siyaq meaning to this problem. Since most of the texts known to syar'iyyah meanings. And (to understand) some of the texts, you need knowledge of the meaning of these texts by looking at the meaning of other texts to be explanatory.

For example, people who pay attention to the word of God:

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, then the reward is Jahannam, he was in it and the eternal wrath of God to him, and cursed him." [An-Nisa '/ 4:93].

"If anyone gets a pardon from his brother, let (an excuse) to follow the good way, and let (a be sorry) pay (blood money) to the giving sorry in a way that either (too)". [Al-Baqarah / 2:178].

If we pay attention to these texts carefully:

"(And whoever kills a believer intentionally then return ...)"-an-Nisa 'Qs / 4, paragraph 93 - that verse is coupled with the mention of children. While the children, sometimes occurs and sometimes not.

Berdasrkan this understanding, all the above texts can be reunited in the truth, that is the problem of God and his righteousness; whoever kills a believer intentionally, then the reward is Jahannam. But God Almighty, by His mercy and grace, has determined that whoever meets Allah with Tawheed and free from shirk, he will not abide in hell, though God tormented him for most of his sins. Then we know that a killer though a punishment, but in fact he would not dwell in hell.

From here, it went astray those who understand these issues without proper based, ie the Sunnah. So comes the Kharijites and Mu'tazilah due to poor understanding of these texts [7]. Likewise Murji'ah have diverged in this issue [8]. And Allah gives guidance to Ahlus-Sunnah to know these texts with attention to other texts. Indeed science is complementary, interrelated, and each show. As you can see right now, someone just look at it from one side. He generally punish and blame other people who talk about it. He did not notice that this issue is divided into several sections, and details contained in this issue.

As we hear of a question, that the claimant did not take the science of science mubtadi.

These words are true words of scholars, but the objec that how? Ie in a state when there is ease. As in case of emergency and urgent, while the place was not there that teaches this, it is not forbidden to take the knowledge from those who stray, if he is an expert in the field of science.

People who do not pay attention to the parts and the details of this will fall into error. Therefore, (to get the truth) must consider lafazh-lafazh (Shari'ah) and siyaq (range sentence). Someone must know the meaning lafazh and its contents (madlul siyaq).

So if we look at the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam:

انصر أخاك ظالما أو مظلوما

(Help your brother whether he menzhalimi or dizhalimi) [9]-Bukhari, no. 2343, Pent. -, Then we will know that kezhaliman mentioned by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam kezhaliman here is not great as mentioned in the word of God:

"(In fact allying (Allah) is truly a great kezhaliman)". Luqmân/31 paragraph 13-Qs.

Likewise, we will find such words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam about women:

يكفرن العشير

(They Kufr against husband) [10], does not always mean Kufr Kufr, but Kufr (deny) to the husband; kufr under paganism, as stated by Ibn 'Abbas and the other from among the commentators in paragraph semisalnya, (that) the word Allah Almighty:

"He who does not judge by what Allah revealed, those are the people who disbelieve". [Al-Maidah / 5: 44]

"And they are the ones who do wrong". [Al-Maidah / 5:45]

"And they are the ones who rebel" [al-Maidah / 5:47].

About three paragraphs in the letter of al-Maidah this, 'Abdullah bin' Abbas said duna kufrin Kufr (disbelief in the heathenism, paganism is not the issue of faith), zhulmun duna zhulmin (kezhaliman under kezhaliman, which are not issued kezhaliman of faith ), fisqun duna fisqin (under godlessness godlessness, wickedness is not the issue of faith). How do they know this, they know with other texts. It must pay attention to these sides.

The details of this issue is long, but I was reminded that the problem is there are daqiq sciences (complex / complexes), and partly the case, his case is very broad, making it difficult to understand by most people. Therefore, all sides in this matter should be respected and observed. With beristi'anah (request for help) to Allah Almighty to understanding, so that a claimant does not fall into the science of mistakes. If you assign something (matter) let pass it on to the scholars, so that they will correct the mistake, if indeed he made a mistake.

Do not Take the Science of Expert Bid'ah

People who intend to seek knowledge of truth must consider from whom he took the science. Do not let the experts take the theology of heresy, for they will mislead, either consciously or unconsciously. So this will drive her to the brink of collapse.

Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al 'Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy stated, that in order to achieve the science there are two roads.

First: Science is taken from reliable books, written by scholars who have known the level of their expertise, mandate, and clean their aqeedah of various kinds of heresy and superstition (fairy tales; ignorance). Take knowledge of the contents of the books, surely someone will come to a certain degree, but on this road there are two obstacles. The first obstacle, takes a long and severe suffering. The second obstacle, his knowledge is weak, because it is not built on the rules and principles.

Second: Science is taken from a teacher who trusted in the science and religion. The road is faster and more robust to gain knowledge. [1]

But the unfortunate deserve, at this time we see the phenomenon of taking knowledge from the experts heresy rife everywhere, even though the act was strongly opposed by the Salaf. So true Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, who has been preaching that it is one of the signs of her doom. He sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

إن من أشراط الساعة أن يلتمس العلم عند الأصاغر

"One of the basic signs of the Hour is, science is taken from the little people (ie experts heresy)" [2].

Imam Ibn al-Mubarak rahimahullah asked: "Who are the little people?"

He replied: "People who speak their minds. As Sagheer (small children) who reported it from kabir (parents, Ahlus Sunnah), then he is not the Sagheer (innovation expert). [3]

In another narration, Imam Ibn al-Mubarak said: "The little guy from the experts heresy". (Reported by al Lalikai, 1/85).

Shaykh Bakr Abu Zaid, a Saudi cleric, member of the Fatwa Commission of Saudi Arabia, said: "Beware of Abu Jahl (the father of ignorance), ie heretic experts, who hit aberrations aqeedah, enveloped by a cloud of superstition; he desires to make as a judge ( determinants of the decision) by calling it with the word "reasonable"; he deviated from the nash (revelation), but not in the sense that there are only texts? He held that Da'eef (weak) and away from the authentic. They also called ahlusy syubuhat (those who have and spread kerancauan thought) and the Ahl-ul-ahwa '(people who follow their passions). That is why Ibn al-Mubarak called experts heresy with ash Sagheer (small children). [4]

And mark the Day of Judgment, which is "take knowledge of the little people (ie experts heresy)" at the time of this really has happened and continues to run. It's been proven words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam above. Even something bigger than that, which took the religious knowledge of Islam from the infidels, the professors who teach the knowledge of Islam in various universities in the West.

So what about the comments of the Salaf, if they had our times? While they are the ones who are very sincere in giving advice, and the firm faces a number of irregularities?

Let us ponder the words of Imam adh Dzahabi rahimahullah of experts at the time of his heresy.

He said: "If you see a mutakallim (a Muslim but to cultivate the science zhahirnya kalam, mantiq, philosophy, Pen), a heresy, saying, 'Leave us out of al the Book (al-Qur` an) and the hadiths, and bring us reasonable, "then know that he was Abu Jahl. And if you see a salik tauhidi (a shufi, Pen) said, 'Leave us from naql (revelation) and reason, and bring us a sense and feeling,' then know that he is a demon that has appeared in human form, or the devil has penetrated him. If you feel afraid of him, then fled. If you are not afraid, then he bantinglah, and tindihlah his chest, and recited verses to her seat, and cekiklah him ". [5]

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam has enumerated the scholars who will always be there throughout the ages, until the desired time by God, that is, in the words he sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam:

يحمل هذا العلم من كل خلف عدوله: ينفون عنه تحريف الغالين وتأويل الجاهلين و إنتحال المبطلين

"The science of religion will be taken by people who are straight with each generation, they will reject tahrif (changes) are made by people who crossed the line; ta'wil (mean deviation) is done by people who are stupid; and lies made by people who do falsehood "[6]

This hadith clearly and unequivocally demonstrate the properties of bearers of religious studies, namely 'is a (straight, istiqamah), then it is only appropriate science is taken from them. Therefore, many clerics warning about choosing the right religion teacher in taking science. The following are among the words of scholars associated with it.

1). Ali ibn Abi Talib Allaah 'anhu said:

انظروا عمن تأخذون هذا العلم فإنما هو دين

"Consider the knowledge of who you take it, because actually it is a religion" [7]

These words are also reported from a number of Salafush Salih, like Muhammad bin Siirin, adh bin Dhahhak Muzahim, etc. (See Sahih Muslim Muqaddimah).

2). Abdullah bin Mas'ud Allaah 'anhu said:

لا يزال الناس بخير ما أتاهم العلم من أصحاب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم و من أكابرهم, فإذا أتاهم العلم من قبل أصاغرهم, و تفرقت أهواءهم, هلكوا

"Humans will always be on the good, as long as their knowledge comes from the companions of the Prophet Muhammad n and of great people (parents) they are. If science comes from the little people (experts heresy), and air- their desire to disperse, they must perish "[8].

In another report stated:

لا يزال الناس بخير ما أخذوا العلم عن أكابرهم, فإذا أخذوه من أصاغرهم و شرارهم هلكوا

"People have always been good as long as they take on the science of great people (parents) they are. If they take knowledge of the little people (experts bid'ah) and bad people (the wicked) between them, then they surely perish "[9]

3). Imam Malik rahimahullah said:

لا يؤخذ العلم عن أربعة: سفيه معلن السفه, و صاحب هوى يدعو إليه, و رجل معروف بالكذب في أحاديث الناس وإن كان لا يكذب على الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم, و رجل له فضل و صلاح لا يعرف ما يحدث به

"Science should not be taken from four persons: (1) real fool to his folly, (2) Shahibu hawa '(followers of the passions) are invited to follow their desires, (3) The person is known to his lie in a conversation-conversation with a man, although he never lied on (name) of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, (4) A person who is noble and righteous who do not know the hadith which he expressed. [10]

4). Imam Nawawi said, explaining rahimahullah backbiting is allowed:
"Among other things, if one looks at the search of science often takes expert knowledge of heretics or wicked, and he worried it would harm the scientific search, then he shall be advised, explaining the situation (the teacher) it, provided that he intended to advise ". [Riyadhush Righteous, al Adzkar, Sharh Muslim].

5). Mentioned in the book Fatawa Aimmatil Muslims, p. 131, as the composition of Mahmud Muhammad Khithab Subki containing fatwas some scholars of Egypt, Sham and Maghrib mutaqaddimin: "All the priests mujtahidin have agreed, that should not take an expert knowledge of heresy".

Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim bin Amir-Hafizhahullah Ruhaili-said, "Verily the Companions of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and his tabi'in after they have provided guidance to take the knowledge from the people who' just and istiqamah. They have banned people take knowledge of the wrongdoers and distorted. And among those who deviate, namely innovation experts. Indeed they have been distorted and perverted the cause of religious heresy, heresies, then tidah may take knowledge of them. Because science is a religion, studied for practiced. So if science is taken from the innovation experts, while experts do not base their heresy and establish problems with innovation-innovation except that he made his religion, so that it will affect innovation expert students in science and practice. So that the students will grow on top of innovation and hard to leave kebid'ahan after that. Especially if it's heresy to learn from experts in childhood, then the effects will remain and will not be lost during his life. "[11]

Shaikh also explained that the purpose of warning the scholars is twofold. First. Keeping the people who learned of the damage aqeedah, as influenced by words and deeds of innovation experts. Second. Boycott (isolate) the expert is called heretical innovation, with the intention of preventing and stopping them from heresy. [12]

This prohibition applies when the situation allows. As for the state was forced, experts should learn to heresy, to be aware of their error. [13]

Shaykh Bakr Abu Zaid said, "O, the prosecution of science. If you are in a grace and have a choice, do not take (knowledge) of experts heresy, (namely): a Rafidhah (Shiite), a Kharijites, a Murji'ah, a qadari (those who deny destiny), a quburi (excessive glorification of tombs), and so on, because you will not achieve the correct degree of religious aqeedah, solid relationship with God, the true view, follow atsar (trace Salaf), except with the leave of experts heresy and bid ' ah them ". [14]

Once we know the information above, then the Muslims should continue to be cautious and careful in taking science. Thus deserve to be warned, that is the phenomenon in this era and earlier, taking the form of knowledge of those who deviate, ie the innovation experts, and even of unbelievers! Would not the people who took the science of the infidels were never read or hear the word of God k of the idolaters attempt to convert Muslims? Allah Almighty says:

ولا يزالون يقاتلونكم حتى يردوكم عن دينكم إن استطاعوا ومن يرتدد منكم عن دينه فيمت وهو كافر فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون {217}

"They did not cease fighting you until they (can) return you from your religion (to disbelief), if they can. Those of you who fall away from his religion, then he died in disbelief, then that's their vain deeds in the world and the Hereafter, and they are the dwellers of the Fire, to dwell therein "[al-Baqarah: 217].

Did not they ever heard the word of Allah Almighty on the willingness of people of the Book who is always willing convert Muslims?

ودكثير من أهل الكتاب لو يردونكم من بعد إيمانكم كفارا حسدا من عند أنفسهم من بعد ما تبين لهم الحق {109}

"Most of the Book wish that they could bring you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy that (arising) from themselves, after the real truth to them" [al-Baqarah: 109]

Do they think that the desire and effort infidels to convert Muslims in the days of the decline was only the verses that al-Qur `an?

Such presumption is forecast is wrong, because the verses are from Allah the All-Knowing and Wise. The whole story from him is haq, both during and subsequent fall of the verse. So, let them pay attention to the history of Islam, pay attention to the events of Muslims, past and present. Thus, they will know the truth of God's word.

Primacy of science and learning Syar'i

Al-Yazid ibn Abd al-Qadir Ustadz Jawas

Allah Ta'ala has praised the science and the owner and encourage worshipers to his knowledgeable and equip yourself with it. Similarly Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam is sacred.

Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah (d.. 751 H) rahimahullaah mention more than a hundred virtues syar'i science. In this book the authors mention only a small part of it. Among them:

A. The testimony of God Almighty To the Men of learning
Allah Ta'ala says,

شهد الله أنه لا إله إلا هو والملائكة وأولو العلم قائما بالقسط لا إله إلا هو العزيز الحكيم

"Allah states that there is no god (the right to be worshiped correctly) but Him, the upholding of justice. The Angels and the people of knowledge (also stated such). There is no god (the right to be worshiped correctly) but He, the Mighty, the Wise. "[Ali 'Imran: 18]

In the above verse Allah Ta'ala asks a knowledgeable person to testify to something really great to be given testimony, the oneness of Allah Ta'ala ... This indicates the primacy of science and the people of knowledge. [1]

In addition, the paragraph above also contains recommendations about the holiness and justice of God the people of knowledge.

Surely God will only ask the people who just have to give testimony. Among the evidence also shows that this is a famous hadith, that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said.

يحمل هذا العلم من كل خلف عدوله, ينفون عنه تحريف الغالين, وانتحال المبطلين, وتأويل الجاهلين.

"This science will be brought by the clergy a fair share of each generation. They will eradicate irregularities / changes made by people who ghuluw (the transgressors), refused to lie baatil actors (the liars), and takwil fools. "[2]

2. Of the learned God's Will Lift degree
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala preach specifically about the appointment of the degree of the learned and faithful. Allah Ta'ala says.

يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا قيل لكم تفسحوا في المجالس فافسحوا يفسح الله لكم وإذا قيل انشزوا فانشزوا يرفع الله الذين آمنوا منكم والذين أوتوا العلم درجات والله بما تعملون خبير

"O ye who believe! When it is said unto you: 'Give spaciousness in the assembly', then Allah will give Exert spaciousness for you. When it is said: 'Stand ye', then stand it, Allah will exalt those who believe among you and those who were given some degree of knowledge. And Allah is Aware of what ye do. "[Al-Mujaadilah: 11] [3]

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

إن الله يرفع بهذا الكتاب أقواما ويضع به آخرين.

"Verily, Allah raised by Al-Qur-an a few people and God was humbled some of him." [4]

In ancient times there was someone whose neck disability, and he has always been a subject of ridicule and derision. Then his mother told him, "whom you seek knowledge, Allah will raise derajatmu." Since then, he studied until he became syar'i pious men, so he was appointed Qadi (Judge) in Makkah for 20 (twenty) years. If there are people sitting in front of litigants, then his body trembled until he stands. [5]

Of the learned and practice it, then the position will be appointed by God in the world and will be raised in the next rank.

Imam Sufyan ibn 'Uyainah (d.. 198 H) rahimahullaah said, "The highest position in the hand of God among His servants are the prophets and scholars." [6]

Allah has said about the Prophet Yusuf 'alaihis salaam:

نرفع درجات من نشاء وفوق كل ذي علم عليم

"... We lift degrees whom We wanted, and above every knowledgeable person who is no longer an All-Knowing." [Yusuf: 76]

Mentioned that the interpretation of the above verse is that We (Allah) uplift anyone who we want to because science. As we have raised the degree of Yusuf 'alaihis salaam on his brothers to his knowledge since.

Look at what is obtained by the Prophet 'Isa' alaihis salaam form of knowledge (science) to the Book and Wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel. Dengannyalah Allah raised him, mengutamakannya and honor. Obtained as well as what the child leader Adam (ie Prophet Muhammad) sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam mentioned in the form of the knowledge of God as a blessing and gift.

Allah Ta'ala says:

وأنزل الله عليك الكتاب والحكمة وعلمك ما لم تكن تعلم وكان فضل الله عليك عظيما

"... And (because) Allah has sent down the Book (Al-Qur-an) and wisdom (the Sunnah) to you and taught you what you do not know. The gift of God bestowed on you is enormous. "[An-Nisa ': 113] [7]

3. Of the learned is People Afraid To God
God proclaim that they are the ones who fear Allah Ta'ala, even those specializing God among men with fear. He said:

إنما يخشى الله من عباده العلماء

"... Among the servants of God who feared him just the clergy. "[Fatir: 28]

Ibn Mas'ud Radhiyallaahu 'anhu said, "Enough of the fear of God is referred to as a science. And enough is not fooled by the remembrance of God is referred to as a folly. "[8]

Imam Ahmad rahimahullaah said, "Basic science is the fear of God." [9] If a person gets his knowledge, it will increase his fear of God.

4. Science Is the Most Great Favor
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala mentions some of His bounties and blessings upon His Messenger (Prophet Muhammad) sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, and made the greatest pleasure is given the Book and Al-Hikmah, and God taught him what not knowing it.
He said:

وأنزل الله عليك الكتاب والحكمة وعلمك ما لم تكن تعلم وكان فضل الله عليك عظيما

"... And (because) Allah has sent down the Book (Al-Qur-an) and wisdom (the Sunnah) to you and taught you what you do not know. The gift of God bestowed on you is enormous. "[An-Nisa ': 113] [10]

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

ألا إني أوتيت الكتاب ومثله معه ...

"Behold, verily I am given the Book (Al-Qur-an) and the like (the Sunnah) with him ..." [11]

5. In the schools of Religious Issues Including Signs of Goodness
In a hadith ash-Shahiihain of Mu'awiya bin Abi Sufyan (d.. H 78) radhiyallaahu 'anhu, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said:

من يرد الله به خيرا يفقهه في الدين

"Whoever desired by the goodness of God, then He will give him an understanding of religion." [12]

This shows that people are not given an understanding of the religion is not desired by God's goodness, as one who desired goodness of God, then He made the schools in religious issues. And whoever is given the understanding of the religion, then Allah has willed for her kindness. Thus, the meaning of understanding (fiqh) is a science that requires the charity. [13]

Imam an-Nawawi (d.. 676 H) rahimahullaah said, "In this hadith there is a primacy of science, steeped in religion, and encouragement to him. The reason is because the science will lead to devotion to God Almighty. "[14]

6. People Excluded From the curse of knowledge of God
Imam at-Tirmidhi (d.. 249 H) rahimahullaah narrated from Abu Hurayrah (d.. 57 H)-Radhi yallaahu 'anhu, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said,

ألا إن الدنيا ملعونة ملعون ما فيها إلا ذكر الله وما والاه وعالم أو متعلم.

"You know, the real world is cursed and damned what is in it, except the remembrance of Allah and obedience to Him, the magicians, and those who study the science. '" [15]

7. Demanding Science And Teach More Than Home Worship Sunnah and Compulsory kifayah
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

فضل العلم خير من فضل العبادة وخير دينكم الورع.

"The virtue of science is better than the primacy of worship, and your religion is best to al-wara '(piety)." [16]

'Ali bin Abi Talib (d.. 40 H) Radhiyallaahu' anhu said, "People who are knowledgeable greater reward than the reward of fasting, prayer, and strive in the way of Allah." [17]

Abu Hurairah Radhiyallaahu 'anhu said, "Really, I know the science section of the commands and prohibitions more to my liking than seventy times do jihad in the way of Allah." [18]

I (Ibn Qayyim) say, "This-if authentic-meaning, is more to my liking than jihad without science, because science charity without more damage than good." [19]

Rahimahullaah Al-Hasan said, "People of knowledge is better than an ascetic man of the world and people are working very hard in worship." [20]

Sufyan ath-Tsauri (d.. 161 H) rahimahullaah said, "I do not know of any better service than the teaching of science to mankind." [21]

Imam ash-Shafi'i (d.. 204 H) rahimahullaah said, "There is nothing better after a variety of obligations rather than studying syar'i Shari'ah." [22]

8. Science Is Good in the World
Regarding the word of Allah Ta'ala,

ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة

"O our Lord, grant us good in the world"

Al-Hasan (d.. 110 H) rahimahullaah said, "What is good is the science and the world worship." And the word of God,

وفي الآخرة حسنة

"And good in the Hereafter." [Al-Baqarah: 201]

Rahimahullaah Al-Hasan said, "That was heaven."
Surely the greatest good of the world is a science useful and charitable deeds, and this is the best interpretation of the paragraph above. [23]

Ibn Wahb (d.. 197 H) rahimahullaah said, "I heard Sufyan ath-Tsauri rahimahullaah said, 'Good in the world is good science and good luck, while good in the Hereafter is Paradise.'" [24]

9. Science is the Way to Happiness
Imam Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi narrated the hadith from companions Abu al-Anmari Kabasyah (d.. H 13) radhiyallaahu 'anhu, he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said,

... إنما الدنيا لأربعة نفر: عبد رزقه الله مالا وعلما فهو يتقي فيه ربه ويصل فيه رحمه ويعلم لله فيه حقا فهذا بأفضل المنازل, وعبد رزقه الله علما ولم يرزقه مالا فهو صادق النية يقول: لو أن لي مالا لعملت بعمل فلان فهو بنيته فأجرهما سواء, وعبد رزقه الله مالا ولم يرزقه علما فهو يخبط في ماله بغير علم لا يتقي فيه ربه ولا يصل فيه رحمه ولا يعلم لله فيه حقا فهذا بأخبث المنازل وعبد لم يرزقه الله مالا ولا علما فهو يقول: لو أن لي مالا لعملت فيه بعمل فلان فهو بنيته فوزرهما سواء .

"... Indeed, the world is given to four people: (1) a servant of God-given knowledge and wealth, then he's devoted to Allah in his wealth, he connects with sila-turahmi, and know the rights of God in it. The person best position (in Allah). (2) A servant of Allah has given knowledge, but not given a treasure, with an honest intention, he said, 'If I have a treasure, I certainly do like what's done so and so.' He was with the intention that, then they are the same reward. (3) A servant of Allah has given wealth but knowledge is not given. Then he can not manage his money, not devoted to God in his property, does not connect with her friendship, and do not know the rights of God in it. Position the person is the worst (in Allah). And (4) a servant who is not God-given wealth is also a science, he said, 'If I have a treasure, I certainly do like what's done so and so.' He intends to like it and they are the same within a sin. "[25]

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam inhabitants divided into four groups. Class is the best among them is the person who administered the science and wealth; he do good to mankind and himself with the knowledge and wealth. [26]

10. Demanding Science Takes To Be Hygiene, glory, His life, and light was
Indeed the human heart would be more clean and noble to get the science that's syar'i and self perfection and glory. People who seek knowledge will increase fear and taqwanya to God. This is in contrast to those who are preoccupied by the treasure and the world, but do not clean up his property, not add to the perfection of his nature, his heart is there will be a greedy, greedy, and stingy.

Science and looking for real love is the root of all obedience, while the love of wealth and the world is the root of many mistakes that plunged into hell.

Every Muslim and Muslimah should know that those who seek knowledge is a happy man because he listened to the verses of Al-Qur'an, the hadiths of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, and the words of the Sahabah. To her heart feel good and will lead to the probity and honor.

11. People Who Demand Will Science By Prophet Shallallaahu Dido'akan 'Alaihi Wa Sallam
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam pray for the people who listen to his words and understand the beauty and berserinya face. He sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

نضر الله امرأ سمع منا حديثا فحفظه حتى يبلغه غيره; فإنه رب حامل فقه ليس بفقيه, ورب حامل فقه إلى من هو أفقه منه, ثلاث خصال لا يغل عليهن قلب مسلم أبدا: إخلاص العمل لله, ومناصحة ولاة الأمر, ولزوم الجماعة; فإن دعوتهم تحيط من ورائهم. وقال: من كان همه الآخرة; جمع الله شمله, وجعل غناه في قلبه, وأتته الدنيا وهي راغمة, ومن كانت نيته الدنيا; فرق الله عليه ضيعته, وجعل فقره بين عينيه, ولم يأته من الدنيا إلا ما كتب له.

"May God give light on the faces of people who listen to a hadith from us, then memorize it and pass it on to others. Many people who took fiqh but he did not understand. And many people who testified to the jurisprudence of more schools of him. There are three things with the heart of a Muslim will be clean (from the treacherous, envious and blessing), that is to do something with sincerity for Allah, advise ulil amri (ruler), and sticking to the congregation of the Muslims, because they include prayer people who are behind them. "He said," Whoever desires the Hereafter is, God will gather his strength, making the wealth in his heart, and the world will come to him in humble circumstances. But whoever is his intention to find the world, God will scatter the affairs of his world, makes pauperism in both her eyes, and he got the world according to what has been set for him. "[27]

If this is the primacy of science alone, it would have been enough to show his glory. Therefore, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam prayed for those who hear his word, and understand, memorize, and present it. So, here are four levels of knowledge:

The first and second levels, ie to hear and understand. When he heard it, so he understands with his heart. That is, thinking about it and set it in his heart as something placed in a container that is not possible to get out of it. Likewise, his mind is like a camel's reins, so he did not run here and there. Container and the reason it has no other function than to store something.

The third level, namely the commitment to memorize the knowledge that science is not lost.

Fourth level, that of bringing the knowledge and pass it to the ummah in order to produce scientific results, which is widespread in society.

Any person above the fourth level, he entered the prayer of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam which includes physical and emotional beauty. Behold the brightness is the result of the influence of faith, inner happiness, joy and delight the heart, then it is manifest brightness, happiness, and his face lights up series. Allah Ta'ala says:

تعرف في وجوههم نضرة النعيم

"You can tell from their faces the joy of their life of bliss." [Al-Muthaffifiin: 24]

Thus, the brightness and glow-series face of someone who heard the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, then understand, memorize, and present the results of sweetness, brightness, and happiness in her heart and soul. [28]

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam hadith narrators pray with kindness and beauty of the face, both globally and in the hereafter. It is said that Allah Ta'ala meaning is convey the pleasure of Heaven.

Narrators of hadith by the Prophet sallallaahu dido'akan 'alaihi wa sallam with the beauty of the face is the narrator of hadith lafazh, although he did not yet understand all the meaning of the hadith. How many people are brought to the jurisprudence of more schools thereof. Although he did not always have an understanding of the hadith. Many carriers of jurisprudence that has no understanding of (adequate).

It shows about disyari'atkannya Rabb without (have to) understand it (in advance). Even this show loved it. Also shows that the hadith narrated without his knowledge to the understanding of these hadith are commendable actions, not blame. With that action, he was entitled to the prayer of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. [29]

12. Science is demanding Jihad in the Way of God And People Who Demand Laksana Science Mujahid in Allah Ta'ala Road
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam once said,

من دخل مسجدنا هذا ليتعلم خيرا أو ليعلمه كان كالمجاهد في سبيل الله, ومن دخله لغير ذلك كان كالناظر إلى ما ليس له.

"Anyone who enters our mosque (masjid Nabawi) with the aim of studying the good or teach it, then he is like those who strive in the path of Allah Ta'ala. And whoever enters it for purposes other than that, then he is like one who is watching something that was not hers. "[30]

Al-Imam Ibn Qayyim rahimahullaah said, "Jihad against the passions has four levels:

First: Jihad for the study guide (useful knowledge) and the religion of truth (good deeds). A person will not achieve success and happiness in the world and the hereafter except him.

Second: The jihad in order to practice sciences after knowing.

Third: to preach jihad science and teach it to people who do not know.

Fourth: to persevere in preaching jihad in Allah Ta'ala and the patient with human disturbance. He bore the difficulties of preaching it was solely because of Allah.
If all four levels have been fulfilled in him, then he is among those who Rabbani. [31]

Abu Darda Radhiyallaahu 'anhu said, "Whoever believes that went in search of knowledge does not include jihad, indeed, he had less reason." [32]

Jihad with proof (argument) and the description takes precedence over jihad with sword and spear. God said to His Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam to jihad by Al-Qur-an against the infidels.

فلا تطع الكافرين وجاهدهم به جهادا كبيرا

"Do not follow the unbelievers, and strive against them with Al-Qur-an with a greater jihad." [Al-Furqaan: 52]

Shallallaahu Prophet 'alaihi wa sallam commanded jihad against the infidels and hypocrites in how to deliver proof (argument and explanation).
Rahimahullaah Imam Ibn al-Qayyim said: "Jihad with proof (argument) and the description takes precedence over jihad with the sword and spear." [33]

12. The reward of Science Taught Will Keep Flowing Despite the owner has Died
Shahiih mentioned in Muslim, Abu Hurairah Radhiyallaahu of the companions 'anhu, the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam, he said,

إذا مات الإنسان انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية, وعلم ينتفع به, و ولد صالح يدعو له.

"If a man dies, then the reward of charity is lost, except for three things: Sadaqah jariyah, useful knowledge, and his deeds are mendo'akannya." [34]

This hadith is the strongest argument about the primacy and glory of science as well as the size of the fruits of science. The real reward of science still accepted by the person concerned during the practiced knowledge of others. As if he still lives and their deeds are not interrupted. This is in addition to an addressable memories and tributes to him. Fixed flow of reward for his deeds at the time of the reward has been disconnected from the human is his second life.

Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam specialize only three things on which reward is still accepted by the deceased because he (the deceased) was the cause of the existence of three things. Because he was a righteous cause the formation of children, Sadaqah jariyah, and useful knowledge, then the reward is still flowing to him. A servant is rewarded for his actions or actions which are born directly (indirect action) from him. The second principle is stated by Allah Ta'ala in His word.

ذلك بأنهم لا يصيبهم ظمأ ولا نصب ولا مخمصة في سبيل الله ولا يطئون موطئا يغيظ الكفار ولا ينالون من عدو نيلا إلا كتب لهم به عمل صالح إن الله لا يضيع أجر المحسنين

"That is because they (the Mujahideen) is not overwritten thirst, exhaustion and hunger in the way of Allah. And not (also) stepped on a place that raise the ire of the unbelievers, and not inflict a disaster to the enemy, except for (all) that will be written for them as a good deeds. Verily, Allah does not waste the reward of those who do good. "[At-Tawbah: 120]

All of the above were born of their actions and not destined for them. Which they are destined for the causes that they do directly. That is, that thirst, pains, hunger, and raise the ire of the enemy is not as (intentionally) they did so, and written so good deeds. However, this arises from their actions (ie jihad fi sabilillaah) because it's written as good deeds for them. [35]

13. Studies by Demand, We'll Think of the Good, True, Gaining Understanding the True, And Can Mentadabburi Verses of God
'Umar bin' Abdul 'Aziz rahimahullaah said, "Thinking about the bounties of Allah, including the main worship." [36]

There is nothing more beneficial for the heart than to read Al-Qur-an with tadabbur and tafakkur. Because it collects all the positions of people who walk in God, the state of those who practice science, and the position of the wise men. This is an inherited sense of love, longing, fear, hope, back to God, resignation, pleasure, surrender, gratitude, patience and all the circumstances by which the heart becomes alive and perfect.

If men knew what was contained in the reading of Al-Qur-an with tadabbur, then he would be busy with her than in others. When he passed the verses needed to treat his heart, he repeated them will even up to a hundred times, although he spent a single night. Reading Al-Qur'an by thinking about and understand it better than reading it until the seal without mentadabburi and understand it, is more beneficial for the heart and helps to gain more faith and feel the sweetness of Al-Qur-an. Reading Al-Qur'an by thinking about it is the subject of kindness. [37]

Al-Hasan al-Basri rahimahullaah said, "Al-Qur-an was revealed to practiced, then make pengamalannya read as one." [38]

14. Science Better Than Assets
Primacy of science over the house can be seen from several aspects:
First: Knowledge is the legacy of the Prophet, while the property is a legacy of kings and rich people.

Second: Science will keep their owners, while the property owner to maintain his property.
Third: Science is the master of the treasure, while the property has no power over science.
Fourth: Assets will be spent out with, while science will increase if it is taught.
Fifth: If passed, property owners would part with his property, while science will go with him into the grave.

Sixth: Assets can be obtained by the believers and the unbelievers, good people and bad people. While useful knowledge can be acquired only those who believe.

Seventh: The person of knowledge required by the king, and besides them, while the property owner is only needed by poor people.

Eighth: The soul will be noble and clean by gathering knowledge and trying to get these things including the perfection and glory, while the property is not clean, not perfect it does not even add to the glory of nature.

Ninth: Assets that invites people to act in an arbitrary and arrogant, while science and humbly invited to practice their religion.

Tenth: Science and draw souls to bring happiness which God created for him, while the property is a barrier between the soul with such happiness.

Eleventh: The wealth of knowledge is more precious than wealth because the wealth of treasures to be treasure beyond human nature, if the treasure was destroyed in a single night, be it people who are poor, while the wealth of kefakirannya not worry, even he will continue to grow forever, in fact he is the highest wealth.

Twelfth: Love is a staple of science and the search for all obedience, while the love of the world and look for treasure and is the subject of any wrongdoing.

Thirteenth: The rich man is on his property and the value of the learned there to his knowledge. When his property was gone, gone are the value and not left without a value, while the learned he still lasting value, even its value will continue to grow.

Fourteenth: It is not one person doing obedience to God Almighty, but by science, while most human sinner to God because of their property.

Fifteenth: People who are rich treasure always accompanied by fear and grief, he was sad before and was afraid to get after acquiring the property, each time multiplying his wealth, his fears are growing stronger. While the rich man of science is always accompanied by a sense of security, happiness, and joy.

Signs of Science Useful


Al-Yazid ibn Abd al-Qadir Ustadz Jawas

Useful knowledge can be known by looking at the owner's knowledge. Among the signs are:

A. Rewarding those who do not care about the state of his knowledge and position themselves and their hearts to hate praise of men, did not consider himself pure, and not overbearing to others with the knowledge they have.

Imam al-Hasan al-Basri (d.. 110 H) rahimahullaah said, "People are just people who ascetic faqih of the world, are looking forward to the afterlife, know his religion, and diligent in worship." In another narration he said, "He not jealous of people who are on it, not arrogant against people who are under it, and do not take benefits from the knowledge that Allah taught him. "[1]

2. The beneficial owner of the science, if his knowledge increases, they are increased tawadhu attitude ', fear, humiliation, and ketundukannya in the presence of God Almighty.

3. Science is useful to invite the owner to escape the world. The biggest one is the status, fame, and praise. Away from it and meant it in her away, then it is a sign of useful knowledge.

4. The owner of this science is not to claim to have knowledge and are not proud of him for one. He does not attribute ignorance to anyone, except someone who clearly violated the Ahlus Sunnah and the Sunnah. He was mad at him because Allah Ta'ala alone, not for personal, nor is it intended to elevate the position himself above anyone. [2]

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (d.. 728 H) rahimahullaah share this useful knowledge, which is the pillar and the principle of wisdom into three parts. Rahimahullaah He said, "Science is commendable, as demonstrated by the Book and the Sunnah is the science which is inherited from the Prophets, as the Prophet sallallaahu spoken 'alaihi wa sallam.

إن العلماء هم ورثة الأنبياء لم يرثوا دينارا ولا درهما وإنما ورثوا العلم فمن أخذه أخذ بحظ وافر.

"Verily, the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets, and they do not pass dinar nor dirham. They just pass on knowledge. Who took it, then he has taken a lot of parts. "[3]

It Has Three Kinds of Science:
A. Knowledge of God, Names, and his qualities as well as matters related to it. An example is as Allah revealed Surat al-Ikhlaash, verse Chair, and so forth.

2. Knowledge about the news from God about the things that have happened and will happen in the future and that is happening. An example is Allah revealed the verses of the story, promises, threats, the nature of Heaven, the nature of Hell, and so forth.

3. Knowledge of God's commands relating to the hearts and deeds of the body, such as faith in God, and the science of the heart condition, and the words and deeds of the limbs. And it is entered in it the science of the fundamentals of faith and of Islamic rules and principles include the science which deals with words and deeds are obvious, such as the sciences of fiqh that discuss legal deeds. And it is part of the science of religion. [4]

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (d.. 728 H) rahimahullaah also said, "It has been said Yahya ibn 'Ammar (d.. 422 H),' Science that there are five:

A. Which is a life science for religion, the science of monotheism

2. Which is a fine science of religion, the science of studying the meanings of the Qur-an and hadith

3. Science is a religion of medicine, the science fatwa. If a catastrophe (catastrophe) came to a servant, he needs someone who can cure him of the accident, as stated by Ibn Mas'ud radhiyallaahu 'anhu

4. Science is a religion of disease, the science and innovation kalam, and

5. Science which is the destruction of religion, witchcraft and the like. '"[5]
